Turkey Day

This was our first thanksgiving as a family of three and it was a relaxing one. For an early Thanksgiving, we went to Kevin and Katie’s and had Turkey with all the trimmin’s over there. It was Yummy! Katie made an egg-nog cake that was really good. They sent us home with all the leftovers, so on Thanksgiving day we didn’t even have to cook!
Wes and I were planning on doing the Turkey Trot 5K in Boulder Thanksgiving morning, but it was 2 degrees out and we really didn’t want to subject Abi (ok…or ourselves) to that kind of torture. So we waited until it warmed up a bit and did our own 4-miler. It was fun, especially for me, because Wes couldn’t keep up for parts of it. And yeah, I did make him push the Chariot, but that doesn’t matter!
On Saturday, VT beat UVA – GO HOKIES!!
